Ken advises clients in all aspects of agricultural law, including incorporation of the farm family and use of a Limited Liability Company (LLC) for the transition of farm and ranch land.  He has extensive real estate knowledge, where he and his staff execute several closings per year, including numerous large agricultural land sales and complex IRS Sec. 1031 transactions. Ken’s practice also focuses on estate planning and estate administration.  He also advises on planning and appeals dealing with Federal farm programs administered by FCIC, FSA and NRCS. 

He serves as General Counsel to many cooperatives, associations, and public entities, including rural electric cooperatives and numerous grain distribution cooperatives. This broad-based representation provides Ken experience in all facets of complex commercial business. 

Ken has been invited to speak at the Ag Expo in Spokane, Washington discussing topics pertaining to estate planning, real estate, farm transition, and IRS Sec. 1031 exchanges.  Ken continues to serve on many Lincoln County boards.  Currently, he is a trustee for the Davenport School Foundation and the Lincoln Hospital Foundation.
